And before you ask, it’s not the movie “Monster In The Closet” from 1986.  I remember this tv movie/special that was “for kids” that involved a kid convinced a monster hid in his closet, and he used to pile toy blocks in front of his closet every night in order to keep it from getting out.  One day his mother gets sick of the blocks being out and is putting things away when a monster emerges from the closet, I think it had wolfish fangs, and drags her into the closet and the door slams shut.  At that point I, being small and stupid, got too scared and turned it off.
