I saw this movie circa 2010 (give or take a couple of years) on one of those premium movie channels, like Showtime or HBO (can’t remember which). It was obviously not a big-budget Hollywood production, actually I think it might have been an independent Canadian flick but don’t quote me on that. The basic premise was there was this woman who was haunting her own house, who may have died in the late Victorian or early Edwardian period (the film is never clear and the costume budget probably didn’t allow for specificity). She’s pretty much the only character in the film and she wanders around doing very mundane tasks, like making breakfast or brushing her hair. She never leaves the house and there’s a point where she starts seeing doppelgangers of herself doing the same thing she just was doing, which indicates to her that she’s in a loop and something isn’t right. There’s also something about a dark spirit in the house with her that has a particularly scary scene near the end. Also, there may or may not have been a subplot about a ghost hunter coming in trying to communicate but finding nothing so he leaves?

I haven’t thought about this film for years and it’s driving me up a wall! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
