I saw this movie in the late 90’s on one of the movie channels(HBO, Cinemax, Showtime when there was only one of each of them).

It’s about an android, looks human, he’s at a house in the middle of nowhere. Could be a farm. It’s in the woods. He’s supposed to be an android cop but something is wrong with his programming. He’s at this house with a woman. She has just killed her husband, I think he was abusive. Military people show up looking for the android and him and the woman fight them off. At the end of the movie, his programming comes back and he tries to kill the woman he’s with because she is a murderer. Her husband’s body is somewhere in the house.. Bathtub maybe?
