I was watching a little bit of this on a TV back in 1996 when I was a child of about 5-7 years of age. The only idea of a plot I can give is that an alien or otherworldly being goes into a house of a wealthy family and starts using his psychic abilities to terrorize (or in some cases kill off) members in that family. The particular scene from it that sticks in my mind is one where a woman who is part of or a friend of the family confronting our antagonist alien who transforms her into a bug (roach or spider it’s hard to tell) before kill her with bug spray. From the look of the people in this color production I know that it was either the 80s or the early 90s at the very least when it was released. The music that played screamed the 1980s and not much else. I have watched some films with plots that are close to what I have described but do not have scenes like I have described.
