I’m pretty sure this was a relatively recent film. It was about a teenage boy who had a hard time in school and decided he wanted to get some. He hooked up with some teen chick who liked fire and I think they hung out at the beach a lot. Teenagers have sex and then the girl’s grandma gets sick and goes to the hospital. She calls her boyfriend to come support her, but he doesn’t pick up. Meanwhile, the teenage boy’s mom is cheating on his dad with a hypnotist cult leader or something. Very jumbled up memory and definitely an odd but fantastic film. Please help?
