I saw this movie as child in the late sixties or early seventies and all I recall is one or two scenes. One scene features a large or mansion type old house set in a wooded area among lots of tall trees. The setting is fairly wild. Also, I think there is a lake nearby, perhaps behind the trees. The whole setting is is fairly eerie. I don’t really recall the characters or exactly what the film was about other than it could have been a kind of spooky drama or possibly a who done it. If I remember correctly it may have featured owls or had owl somewhere in the title.
A short
An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge (1962)?
Was this in color or B&W? Was it a U.S. production or some other country? Was it a period film, and if so, what time period?
It was in color. It wasn’t a period film, the characters were modern (late sixties or seventies) – it may have been an English/British production but I’m not sure about that.
The Owl Service? (1969) technically it was a mini series.
