I saw the movie in the late ’80s/early ’90s (max. ’93). I saw it on TV, (should be) in English and in colour. The movie was set in a desert (I remember lots of sand so it could be a desert, a desert planet or simply a beach). A group of people have set up some pieces of white cloth for shade. Under the pieces of cloth, they have a table and they are eating. In the middle of the table is a large piece of meat. Suddenly, a small creature come out of the piece of meat and everybody freaks out. I remember guns and something about a metal box/crate.

I was young, so I didn’t eat meat for some time. 🙂
