I recall a scene depicting a battle between two sides that pause as a small group of holy men walk through the middle of the fighting. It is explained that they keep their eyes closed as they don’t want to see the horrors of the world. Both the warring sides silently observe the protocol of not fighting in their presence. Originally I remembered this as a 1970s medievel parody movie, but now I have the naggling feeling it may have been a cartoon. Wildly different I know, but the facts of the scene itself are concrete.
Monty Python and The Holy Grail(1975)?
That’s not the scene I remember, but I’ll watch it all the way through to see if it pops up later in the film. Don’t think it was the Holy Grail though.
