I remember long ago having an odd VHS tape of a cartoon movie of a man becoming shipwrecked on an island with a group of animals. notably a pink and blue cat if i recall rightly along with a talking parrot. he befriends a native island boy who shows up. he builds a fort from the wreckage of the ship he was on and plans to lie out on the island. i have no recollection of the plot however i’m certain islanders and a vicious sword fish are the main antagonists. this is not 80’s-90’s styled it feels much much older.
