The film I’m looking for was in in English, American cast (possibly some British actors), it was in color and it may be a Scifi TV series. It aired on TV btwn approx 2103-2015. A young woman was the lead and she cut off the tail of the male protagonist (which may have killed him). A short funny little man who was hiding the fact that he had a tail but at the same time victimizing other mutants.
Did he look like a normal human aside from the tail? There is a scene in Orphan Black where a woman cuts a man’s tail off (in episode 7) but I’m not sure if that’s what you’re looking for.
