Around 2002-2003 when I was seven or eight I recall watching what I believe to be a horror movie and one scene in particular has kinda scarred me ever since. In the scene an older woman returns home and hears her microwave running. Upon investigation she finds her cat in there. When consoling her cat after its rescue, a girl(presumably the main character if I recall) comes up from behind and brutally murders her. Either by stabbing her to death, or beating her to death with something. Possibly even the bag of cat food. I say this because the next shot shows the cat on the floor next to a bloody bag of cat food, and the scene ends with the cat beginning to lick the blood off the bag.

I watched this on DirecTV, it was in English and was in color. At the time it didn’t seem like an older movie but I can’t really recall. I don’t remember much about the movie its self other than I believe the main character was a high school-aged female and maybe she was killing people as revenge? I’m not sure at all. That detail might actually be me remembering Ginger Snaps, though. Regardless, if anyone can name this movie or provide help in any way I would greatly appreciate it. Really I just wanna make sure that this really was a scene from a movie and not something my mind thought of on its own at age eight. That’d be slightly worrying.
