I just started thinking about a movie I’m pretty sure I watched maybe 2-3 years ago. It’s not an old film, maybe no more than 5 years old. I just have these short flashback memories of it. For some reason I seem to remember it was set in Long Island or Staten Island. I remember the house the people lived in; it was a brown house, with like dark wood siding. The mom lived in the house, and her kids may have or may not have been visiting. The rooms were upstairs and the stairs were real narrow. I remember the girl in the movies needed a ride to work or to school and someone took her. They were parked in front of the house and they just told her to jump in. I remember the house being decorated with christmas lights for some reason. Also, I remember rain. I also remember the protagonists building a fort in the living room out of pillows and blankets. The film was American, it was in English. I can’t remember anything else, but I know this movie exists. Thanks for any help and sorry for the lack of help on my part.
