When I was a kid in the 70’s my parents occasionally took us to the drive-in. My earliest drive-in movie memory is of this scene where a man sticks a diamond pin into a woman’s body after killing her. The woman may have been topless and she may have been killed by being strangled, but I’m less sure of that. The shot of the pin going in her body was an extreme closeup.
As a note, there’s no way this could have be an x-rated movie.
“Black Belly of the Tarantula”(1971)?

“Frenzy”(1972)?

This is it! I remember the necktie. I was going to add that detail in the description, but I was kind of questioning my memory of it since I was only like 7 or 8 at the time.
Just to add…
Just saw the scene in the movie. Evidently the guy stuck the diamond pin in another part of his coat rather than in his victim. I remember having nightmares about that scene — that must be why I was confused about where the pin was stuck..
Murder Rock?
Marking “solved.”
So, which one was it?
Sparrow responded to your post marked “Frenzy,” so that’s the one I credited.
Oh, thank you!
