I remember this movie from my early childhood, I was 6 maybe 7, it was mid 90s so I’m assuming the movie was eather released then or a little bit earlier.

I barely remember the plot but I think it was about two scientists/doctors/researchers (both Caucasian) who fell in love while on mission somewhere exotic (maybe the amazon forest), later the woman gets cancer and dies and the man goes on a bridge and throw an engagement ring in the waters (I think he was engaged or meaning to proppse to the woman).

I don’t know if it’s enough, I’m not even sure it was an American movie (though I always assumed it was).

I really hope someone would have an idea on what it might be, It will make my life!
