A family goes to a drive in movie, on the way home they get into an accident, killing the daughter and seriously injuring one son. A few years later, the parents have gotten divorced and one son is trying to deal with the tragedies in his life. He befriends a bad influence and starts getting into trouble, which his mother does not like.
