I remember a movie possibly early 90’s but could be Earlier in colour and begins with a sexy nurse with dark curly hair on the phone and her husband ( I think he was a dentist) is on the chair in the clinic dead. It then flashes back to the nurses chikdhood when she was very geeky with pigtails and braces and glasses and had a unconventional upbringing a weird mother, I think it centred in an apartment and the mother has red/ginger hair and everyone called the daughter the baby even though she was about 12/15 yrs old, I think there was a male visitor or friend at some point, it was a kind of offbeat comedy film. If anyone can shed light I’d most appreciate it 😊
