Racking my brain!!
It was a full-length movie, in color, probably 1980-1990s. Something about a Victorian house near a cliff and there was an argument between a man and a beautiful woman, Evelyn, and she ran to the car in a snowstorm, very upset. She drove away crying and subsequently drove off the cliff. It was a mystery because we didn’t know about that scene until the end of the film. Maybe Evelyn was haunting the house and some children were trying to bring her closure. Characters in the film wouldn’t talk about Evelyn and many thought some old man had killed her. I only remember that one scene and a scattering of others. Title might have been “house by the cliff” or “house on the hill”. Thought it might have been a Feature Films for families but can’t find it. Help!
