I partially seen a color, American movie in the early 90’s (I was very young so details are hazy) on television in which several diverse characters were in a forest being hunted by a masked villain and his minions.  I think the forest also had numerous traps. All the characters had some connection to him but did not initially realize the others knew him as well.  The villain’s face was disfigured by a fire and he wore a mask.  The main protagonist fought him in that previous incident and assumed him dead.  Another character was a doctor that treated him afterward.  An additional character was an older Asian guy (possibly martial artist) that was killed by a golden statue that had buzz saw blades come out (I think).
