Hello, for some reason I remembered this movie I watched about a missing girl and when I went to look for it, nothing came up. What I remember – In the begining of the movie, the girl is painting her room black, it might have been parts of it, or the ceiling. When she goes missing, her parents are retracing her steps and there is cctv of her getting on a bus or train. It leads to her going into “town” (not sure the specifics). There they see her buying something. I think later on the parents split up. The dad keeps looking for her though. This detail may or may not be in the movie, i might be getting this detail mixed up, but I think the dad was working with a group that helped find trafficked people and they found her on a site.towards the end, they pull her shopping bag out of the water, and it was like a black light ligjt bulb. In the end I don’t remember if they find her. They end up finding out the light bulb was for her room and what she was painting showed up with the black light. I believe I watched this around 2015-2017. I want to say it was an english show, slight chance it was british. I remember it being a mini series, there were like 6 episodes. No big actors from what i recall. I watched it on either netflix or hulu. I did go back through my netflix watch history but too much ground to cover there.
