both my brother and i have tried finding this movie ands can for the life of us remember it’s name.

it’s about three kids, under 15 years old, two boys and one girl. one of the boys likes the girl and somehow loses/drops it down a drain. he tries to retrieve it from the drain and in the process they wake up a monster. it may be a djinn or rancor like monster. i remember a mansion where they fought the monster and that one of the boys sacrifices themselves to save the boy and girl.

it was a 90’s movie and in colour .

also the monster reminded us of the animation from the 60’s where it looked like clay and animatronics.

please help us find the movie.
