I am looking for a movie I saw on TV when I was a kid (or more likely a rented movie adults got). It was about a German shepherd (possibly another type, but I doubt it) that killed people. Very vicious. It was happening during a war and the dog was used by soldiers to hunt and kill people. There may have been more to the movie, but this was what gave me the strongest impression. The scenes with the dead people after the fact had a realism which makes me think it wasn’t on TV but rented.

One scene that really sticks in my mind are prisoners of war locked in the back of a truck with the dog by the soldiers. After a while the soldiers open the back and the dog jumps out (chasing after more victims) but the soldiers are shocked at the dead prisoners of war.

I can’t remember the language it was in. Either Spanish or English. Or overdubbed into one of those.
