The film is about a boy age 9-12. I think the premise is the boy has very bad vision and he must choose whether to wear his glasses or not. When he wears his glasses, other people become blind and they are being murdered by someone who preys on blind people. I saw this movie when I was very young so I can’t remember much of the plot. I am not sure what happens when he doesn’t wear his glasses, but I know that there are two different versions of his life.

In the last scene of the movie he has an eye operation and he wakes up. The camera shows his POV and the screen goes black to create the question of what world he will wake to.

In an earlier scene, there is a woman sitting on a rocking horse in a sexy outfit. She is blind and having pictures taken of her. It turns out the man taking her pictures is the killer. I remember her face is cut by the man.

I have always wondered about this movie. I saw it when I was about seven and it scared me endlessly. I would really appreciate it if someone knew because I need to know, just to resolve the fact in my head. I am 22 and watched it on television if that helps for the dating. The film was in color I believe. Thanks!
