One scene I remember a guy is driving down a dark road towards a town or something and he keeps going past the exact same guy riding on a bike he just thinks its because he’s tired but the last time he goes past him he looks at his face and its horribly disfigured not like the other times.
Another scene I think the main protagonist is an author possibly, he checks into a hotel and the owner is an oldish lady and her husband, later in a scene you see her in the cellar of the hotel mutilating what I think is her husband with an axe I think and she is really some kind of monster.
I think it has something to do with a book coming to life or something.
Another scene he goes back to the city and witnesses a group (possibly policemen in group) beating someone to death.
It was quite graphic from what I can recall, I never watched all of it and hopefully you guys can help me find it.
