I can only remember segments of this movie, but i am searching for this a long time now.

Its about ants/creatures/small being inside a terrarium. But they eat everything you put in there.  The family dog for example fell or went into this terrarium and got eaten. His collar was left behind.

But i also remember a man stepping in the terrarium but he doesnt get eaten. They think he is a god and they worship him.

the terrarium was in the garage.
