I remember as a kid watching some movie on HBO through my closed fingers during a scene of what I think was Tales from the Crypt, but it may have been something else.

The scene was in a theater or on stage and it involved this burlesque or flapper girl that was on stage and this giant head creature thing wrapped its tongue around her and attacked her.

I was having this discussion with my parents and they didn’t believe me at all but I definitely remember seeing it.
