When I was a kid, probably sometime in the late 80s or early 90s.  I saw this movie where a kid, possibly a pizza delivery boy, the details escape me.  But he watched a movie called death at midnight, where a man goes to a house with a gargoyle statue in the front, he runs his hands over it, and goes inside.  Shortly after that he is on his skateboard, and he comes to a similar house, with a gargoyle statue in the front, he runs his hand over it the same way he saw in the movie..he then goes into the house, somewhere he sees something that says “you’ll die at midnight”.  He is locked in, so he tries to break the window with his skateboard, and suddenly day turns to night.  I don’t remember much else.  I thought the movie was called “death at midnight” but when I search for that, there is a movie with that name but the synopsis isn’t even close.
