I’m trying to remember the name of a cheesy circa 1983-1992 monster or alien movie that I first saw on video tape.
I remember very little from the movie save that one of the characters–she may have been the female lead–was either a young babysitter or the big sister and was taking care of some bratty kids in the house. I remember she had a bit of a brassy attitude, too. Possibly had shoulder length reddish hair.
The only scene I recall is when she goes to the bathroom upstairs in the house–I assume to take a shower or bath because she strips down to her white nylon panties–and I believe the monster or alien attacks or is about to attack then. I seem to recall they are like slime or slugs that come up through the pipes, but I am not sure. Later, I am pretty sure she is joined by her boyfriend or classmate to help survive against the monsters.
Sorry this is so sketchy! It’s all I can remember.

It may be this one. The closest matches I have found so far are The Gate and a made for TV Disney movie, Mr. Boogedy, neither of which have the scene I remember.
Pretty sure it’s not The Deadly Spawn, which is rated R. The movie I saw was either PG or PG-13.

Definitely wasn’t Slugs. I don’t think there was any nudity and I believe it was rated PG.

No. Shivers is a 1975 and this was in the 80s to early 1990s.

I think there’s a scene where a girl is in the upstairs bathroom and gets sucked into the drain and goes down the pipes.
