A movie I saw about in 2006 on canadian tv. i think it’s american. it was in color. the story as i can remember was a group of people in a car who give a ride to a hitch-hiker somewhere in a USA back-road they drive to some research area ( possibly lost) where there is a time travelling machine , gun-fight happens, people are killed, one of the other people then uses the time travelling machine to go back in time ( for 20 minutes?) to try and stop the people getting killed; but when the sequence of events is relived, different peolple in the group get killed, then an other person goes back in time to prevent the killings. this sequence of time happens i think for 4 or 5 times. at the end every one in the sequence knows that there is going to be a gun fight as they re-live the sequence but everyone is plotting on how to survive the person who starts the fight.
