So this was a movie I saw in late secondary school or early high school (early 00’s). Shown to prove a point to kids, which I can’t remember.

I believe it was about some guy returning to a village where his mom lived, or maybe he moved there with his mom. He meets and gets mixed up with some bad people, right-wing extremists if I remember correctly (so the point may have been “be tolerant”). He also meets a girl, a dancer. At a certain point he gets a gun trough these bad people but I think it was a fake one. At some point he and the girl get in a car crash or some sort of accident and he is forced to cut her leg or foot off, ruining her dreams of becoming a dancer.
