This movie was seen on television about 25 to 30 years ago. It was about this dark haired American white man who is an author and he is in Morroco trying to get over a writer’s block. The story was dark something about this man’s past haunts him. He came to meet a little Morrocan boy who had stolen some food from him and he liked the boy, so he hired him as his little servant boy to run errands and clean up and stuff like that. The boy was about 8 or 9 years old and was an orphan living on the streets of Morroco. He wanted this man to be his father. There is a scene later in the movie where this man meets with a woman in India that he has fallen for. He pays for her to have an Oil Bath in this Spa for ladies in India. That’s all I can remember. That oil bath spa has been on my mind for years. I’ve tried looking for this movie on search sites for movies and they never find anything like it. I wish I could remember a name or something, but nothing comes to mind. Can anyone help with title?
