I’m looking for the movie I saw as a kid for years now. It must be from the 80s US production, seen it in german cable network in the very early 90s.

I dont know anything about the story anymore, comedy for sure, but it was some kind of chase, teens on the run, maybe some kind of technology/alien or whatever. I remember them being hunted by the gov/FBI or something.

The thing I remember best is the end. Somehow all of the characters come together in the final scene, and the film ends like they all are in cinema or see and watch the credits of the film itself. (Or joking and talking about the adventures)

Any clue?
