I saw a movie many years ago on Australian television. This movie was in English, possibly American, but I’m leaning more towards UK.

I remember it being a murder mystery, the location was set in a large castle OR mansion, it was in colour and I only remember two scenes.

One scene is a man lying in bed, he is coughing and choking (possibly from poison) and croaking “help”. A woman appears on screen with a glass of water, he reaches for it but she drinks it instead and he eventually dies.

The next scene I remember is the last scene, it is this woman murderer brushing a little girls hair. I don’t remember much dialogue but I remember the film somehow explaining she had buried all of her bodies under the green hedges outside in the large castle or mansion’s garden.
