I’ve been looking for years…

I saw this movie about ten years ago, it was in color, in English, and it was most likely on VHS.

The main plot is about a family that moves to a new town that’s filled with monsters. The two main characters are a boy and a girl (around the ages of 8-12). They become friends with a group of monster kids and are invited to a sleepover birthday party for one of the monsters.

Little things I remember…

• The girl is dressed up as a duck for Halloween and her father is dressed as a monkey.

• They meet the kids at a playground

• They play hide and seek during the party in a cemetery

• The Birthday monsters gets a guillotine toy.
