This has been the largest mystery of my life. I would be forever grateful if someone could help me out. I’ve been searching for the answer for going on 10 years now.

A movie I saw in the late 90s, possibly early 2000s. In color, USA, seemed like a drama mystery or thriller, possibly paranormal. I was young so I don’t have any plot just one scene.

A young woman is investigating or trying to solve some mystery that happened a long time ago. In the scene she is ripping wallpaper off the wall where she finds all of these writings on the wall. The writings came from a young boy who was chained to a bed. As she’s ripping the wallpaper it keeps flashing back to the boy writing on the wall in desperation as water is filling the room.

I saw it sometime in the late 90s I think. I was very young. I know we did not own it or rent it so it must have been airing on TV, which also lead me to believe it was a Lifetime movie. Either way it was definitely “B”-list movie.

Young woman who collects angel figurines is running away from a man who is trying to get her. He is possibly an abusive ex-husband. Perhaps even a sicko father. I remember a scene in an RV, or van where she was surrounded by her angel statues praying to them, she seemed a bit crazy…
