I have the vaguest memory of watching a TV movie (possibly “based on a true story”) that was about a suburban family that was dealing with some kind of haunting in their house. I can only remember a handful of scenes, but given how young I was when I saw it, my memory might not be that reliable. I remember something about a cat having kittens that were born deformed and had to be euthanized and the father being in the garage with these giant heads (I want to say there were three of them, but it they were all the same guy, an old man) materializing (possibly in front of fire?) and they were screaming at him.
