Hey guys, need your help one this one. I originally watched this movie with a buddy of mine back in 2003. I remember two scenes specifically. One scene had the main character randomly in the Forrest on a very small stream bridge. Two guys chase him down saying “hey, let’s see if you can still fight”. I think his name was like John or Mike.  Then I remember the bad guy hearing that they let him escape and then stabbed the guy sitting next to him.

i vaguely remember something about a tournament and a girl being kidnapped.
