I vaguely remember a film existing in which a (I think) mother and son are attacked by a space being who tries to coax the son to use his special abilities for something nefarious. The movie scared me and I remembered it after watching the scene in a Wrinkle in Time when the darkness tries to persuade Charles Wallace. I think it was a mid-2000’s movie. Anything would be appreciated.
