Please help me!  I’ve had this movie scene in my mind for ages!  I cannot stand it any longer!!

OK, here it goes.  Just one scene.

There is a box in a bedroom.  It has a peephole on one side.

People that are curious enough to take a peek disappear and maybe end up inside the box, along with (what I think it is) a brain-monster of sorts.

I know this is very little info.  I saw this as a young child and it just a faint memory.  Would love to watch again.
