Hi,
The movie is older than 10 years. There is a tall guy in black who wrestles with bold ape like monster and throws it into glass window. Glass breaks and slides down cutting monster in half. Top half of the monsters runs on its hands and jumps at the guy. That’s all what I saw in a trailer.

Hm, not sure. Watched trailer and didn’t find an episode where bold ape like monster was cut by half by falling glass. Is there such scene in the movie?

I don’t think it’s correct movie. There was an ape like monster, not an actual ape.. And it was bold and cut in half by falling glass. Even after that it jumped on its arms and continued to attack..
It’s I, Madman. At the film’s climax, a stop-motion ape-man springs to life from the pages of the same author whose work spawned the titular menace. The Madman and the ape-man do battle, briefly, before the latter is bisected.
