Ray Bradbury wrote a story called “The Screaming Woman” where a woman is buried alive by her husband and the person who hears her is not believed. A few adaptations of it have been done as well, although I don’t recall any that were black and white. This version is an excellent TV movie, with some very creepy scenes at the end:
There have been a lot of adaptations of Poe’s Fall of the House of Usher. It might be one of these. The most famous is probably the Jean Epstein one, I guess.
