Action/adventure kids movie about a boy, an electronic/computer genius, who plays strategy games and constructs devices from the electronic scrap. He also constructed a robot that defends somebody in the hospital. The boy has a girlfriend(?), and the person in the hospital is probably his or her relative. The robot has a video camera and is remotely controlled.
The robot is hidden under the person’s bed. When the bad guys come to harm this person, the boy defends the person using the robot. I saw it on TV between 1990 and 1995. The movie was in English and in color.
