I watched this movie in 2015. Its based on real life facts. It was about american soldiers who entered Iraq or Vietnam (can’t remember). The movie focuses on 4 or 5 soldiers who were at the woods.  Below them there was a village were a criminal was located. The soldiers at the woods couldn’t complete their tasks because a boy and a grown man (both locals) discovered them while walking around with their sheep. The soldiers had two options: kill them or let them go, and they risked the whole operation by letting them go. A battle starts and the soldiers die except for one who is taken hostage. At the end he gets rescued and returns to his home.
