A movie about at least 20 years ago, I watched it when I was 10.
It’s about a nice ghost make friend with a little girl, he always helping her and play with her.
But when she grown up, the ghost was locked in a coffee can (or cookie can?) in the attic.
One day, the girl grown up, somehow the ghost came out (I forgot that part…) And the ghost was making fun with the girl’s mother. But only the girl can see the ghost. At the end, the girl has a daughter and she gave her the cookie can.
Drop Dead Fred?
It sounds a lot like Drop Dead Fred. It was with Phoebe Cates (from gremlins). Her imaginary friend always had on a green suit and spoke with a British accent. I hope this helped
it was a jack-in-the-box, not a coffee can, in DDF. but i still think it’s the OP’s movie.
