I saw it about 10 or 11 years ago on TV. The movie is about a hero who has a little damaged bat as his pet on his shoulder. The guy saved the bat when he was in some kind of prison (Shown in a flashback).

As I mentioned in the “post title” it’s a medieval/fantasy type movie with mystical entities and other supernatural stuff. If I recall correctly, the story was about this guy saving a princess and going on a journey.

I’ll be very thankful if you could name the movie.
