I remember watching a long time ago this movie, which was a family movie featuring an Asain American family, where this kid discovers this magical creature who becomes his friend and begins doing his chores and doing his homework. I remember this scene when this kid was taking a test in class and his magical little friend was able to help him swap his test with another classmate, a girl who was very smart, in order for him to help the kid cheat on the exam. I would say this movie looked like it came out during either the 80s, 90s, or early 2000s. I am not sure honestly. I just remember that it looked like one of those nickelodeon family/kids movies. Please help me out!
