I believe I saw it in the 80s early 90s but the plot was about revenge and I think the antagonist got plastic surgery and then arranged for a group of people to walk through the woods or jungle and they were all killed one by one by traps. The only trap I can remember is a sumurai or similar sees his sword, sits in a puddle and grabs it and then is either decapitated or killed by shiruken. It’s been driving me nuts I’m hoping someone else saw this.
