Group of friends (or it might have just been a couple) go to this house or hotel. At some point the female lead (I think the lead) gets lost and falls into a pile of bones inside the walls of the house. From there she sees a man looking into a mirror who proceeds to take off a wig and nose (He might of been changing into/out of a disguise or actually peeling off his face). and at the end of the film it breaks the 4th wall and an announcer introduces the cast to applause as they fire machine guns at the host (who was beetlejuice-esque)

It seemed campy, neon colors, late 80s – early 90s trippy like peewee herman or beetlejuice. I thought Dr. Caligari (1989) was it but its just extremely similar in style
