Hi all!

I was born in 1984 and I recall watching a film where the ending scene(s) contained children flying up out of a giant hole as fairies. They had bright colored wings attached to their bodies and floated up. This is not a cartoon.  I distinctly remember the hole looked to be in the desert or a light colored gravely area.  Certainly NOT a wooded forest.  It was a hopeful scene, one almost where the children were “reborn” or were finally their “true selves”.  Please help 🙂  This memory has bugged me for years!
