I’m trying to remember the name of this film from either the late 70s or 80s. All I can recall is that there is a little boy who comes across a talking ice statue. The I statue “man” has a crown of ice crystals. The little boy visit him every day and even gives him his scarf. The ice statue man is melting a little day by day. The little boy is either ice skating or playing ice hockey and he falls through the ice and somehow the ice statue thing saves him by sacrificing himself. It’s a very strange concept but I remember certain scenes vividly. I have searched Google up-and-down and have found no such film. Please help!
Jack Frost?
The magic snowman? He has the ice crystals and the boy really wants and I think gets ice skates.
