I remember the movie had something to do with two girls one a rebellious short haired tomboyish type and the other a medium to long haired good girl type. One scene I remember is towards the end of the movie I think and the good girl is in the hospital or something like that and the short haired girl sneaks in and gets the good girl to leave with her against her fathers wishes. I distinctly remember the short haired girl sticking her tongue out and flapping it in and out and the two girls run off together. I think this was late 80’s or early 90’s. The movie was in color and on TV and in English

No that’s not it. I’m not sure but I think it’s before 1993. And the tomboyish girl had short dark hair brown I think and the other girl had longer hair at least down to her shoulders and it was also brown I think.
